STONE PINE BEDS:
The stone pine belongs to the pine family and grows from 1600 m above sea level. The trees live
between 200 and 400 years. The scent of stone pine activates the parasympathetic nervous system, the calming counterpart to
the often stress-induced overactive sympathetic nervous system.
In the flats with separate bedrooms, our guests lie in stone pine beds, which have a beneficial effect
on their health.
Here are a few good reasons to sleep in a stone pine bed:
Improved sleep: the ingredients of Swiss stone pine lower the heart rate during sleep by up to 3500
beats, thus taking 1 hour of work off our heart each night.
General well-being: stone pine wood in the living room stabilises the blood circulation and reduces
sensitivity to the weather.
Antibacterial effect: The University of Salzburg found out in a study that stone pine wood has a high
antibacterial effect.
Sustainability: Swiss stone pine comes from the Tyrol, is a hardy tree from the region - no long
